An alternative to the dreaded Gantt Chart - how we at Archio communicate the programme with our clients.
We believe that strong relationships are the cornerstone of successful projects. Good relationships start with excellent briefing and communication, awareness of decision-making procedures and internal pressures faced by clients.
An example of this is a ‘project pattern’ that we produced for a the Board of Trustees of a charity for whom we are designing a new community centre. We recognised that of the 12 Trustees none of them had any experience of being a client on a large new-build project. By understanding that they needed to know when they could input into the process we produced a simple visual that enabled them all to contribute. The Board now feels confident that they can effectively influence the design as it develops.
